One sunny afternoon, Philo and his sister, Lily, went to the library—
their favorite place for quiet corners and sunlit spots near the colorful
playground. While exploring the shelves, Philo found a book about 昀氀owerdyeing experiments. It reminded him of Mama, who’d been busy lately
running her little houseplant business. He showed it to Lily, eyes bright with
an idea. Maybe they could surprise Mama with dyed 昀氀owers in her favorite
colors. Smiling at each other, they checked out the book and hurried home,
ready to start a lovely 昀椀lled experiment.
