today." Papa nodded while trying the buttons and said,
"The screen just stays dark, it won't turn on."
"His photos deserve a chance, don't
they? He really tried his best," Mama
added with a small smile.
Together, they walked back inside
with the camera—not fixed, but still
full of hope.
