Milo stays in his room with the door
locked. He hides under his blanket and
cries softly. “My camera is broken
my photos are gone…”
Mama knocks gently. “Milo, we love you.” Papa says, “We’re here if you need us.”
But Milo whispers, “I don’t want to talk…”
So Mama and Papa let him rest. They know he had a really hard day.

He sighs. “But I’m not joining…”
He sits quietly on his bed,
After some time, Milo steps out to the sharing
feeling a little sad and unsure.

Hearing his brother, Lilo approaches him quietly. She doesn't say much, but she
hugs his leg and offers him her favorite toy. "Don't be sad, Milo," she whispers.
Milo takes a deep breath, feeling a little bit of the warmth returning to his chest.
